Biography |
Travel journalists based in Nice, France, with extensive guidebook and feature writing experience in Italy, Turkey and the former Yugoslavia.
Kathryn was born in the US, raised in Italy and finished her education in the UK. After a career in the Chinese and Italian contemporary art world, Kathryn became a full time travel journalist in 2005. Art, food, and Italian and Croatian trips are her favourite subjects, although she’s written about almost everything travel related. Tri-lingual, she’s also a very nice person and a very good map reader.
Tristan was brought up in both Britain and the Bahamas but moved to the South of France in 2003. Since then he has been a full time travel journalist and photographer. His special emphasis is on hotels, train travel, boats, the Mediterranean and the Middle East. Tristan speaks English and French plus a smattering of Arabic, Turkish and Serbo-Croat.
They’ve been to around 75 countries and several hundred cities between them. Have posted copy from 15 different nations.
