Has written more than a dozen travel guides and co-authored, updated or otherwise contributed another 15. He has also contributed more than 100 travel and wildlife features to magazines such as Travel Africa, Africa Geographic, Africa Bird & Birding, BBC Wildlife, Wanderlust, Food & Travel and Msafiri.
