Biography |
To become a travel editor, writer and photographer you must take the road less travelled, then watch your head as you duck the clichés. No-one comes to it in the same way. I came to it from the depths of the night shift on the travel desk at a media monitoring agency, fresh from a degree in Archaeology, an eight-month world trip and six months of intensive journalism training. Since then I have been producing guidebooks for Americans, Brits and the French, while also reviewing and relaunching Michelin's Green Guides and Must Sees series. Somehow in between I got married, bought a flat and continue to travel. |

Michelin
I have been an editor at Michelin for about a year and a half, working on their Green Guides and Must Sees titles, in particular reviewing and re-launching both series and developing new titles.
Best Loved Hotels
Prior to this I was the editor for Best Loved Hotels UK & Ireland, an annual glossy hotel guide and website, for the UK and US travel trade. |

Most recent publications |
I just completed a brand new 280 page Michelin Green Guide to Singapore that I commissioned, designed, outlined, managed and edited. I also took about 60% of the photos used in the guide. |

I am currently working on another new title, Cancún and the Yucatan, this time for the Michelin Must Sees series, which targets the American market.
Beyond new titles, I am involved in reviewing, relaunching and updating the full Michelin Green Guide and Must Sees catalogue.
