Biography |
For the last 20 years, Canadian travel writer and photographer Michael DeFreitas has traveled the world in search of adventure. And nothing gives him more satisfaction than sharing those adventures with his many readers.
Although he tends to concentrate on adventure travel in the Caribbean and Latin America, Michael has visited more than 60 countries and written on many aspects of travel. He is also an avid scuba diver and underwater photographer with dozens of dive articles to his credit. He has authored three guidebooks and contributed to several others. His stories and photos appear in dozens of North American and international publications.
