Biography

The world is a big place and I am making a concerted effort to see most of it! I am the originator and presenter of BBC regional radio’s ‘Where in the world am I' series, and contribute regularly to guide books, national and regional press, consumer and airline magazines, and online media.
I have been writing about world travel destinations for over 20 years and during that time I’ve experienced my fair share of highs and lows. The lows don’t get any easier but the high’s sure make up for it!

Writing quirky, entertaining and informative travel stories and guides for all media. Writes and presents 'Where in the World' for BBC regional radio which networks across the north of England.
